International real estate advisor Savills has appointed Matěj Baranek as an associate director of its Office Agency and Ondřej Šimek as associate of Occupier Services. They will be based in the Prague office.

Matěj, who joined in August, has a strong track record in providing advisory services to corporate occupier clients. He has advised companies from various sectors including financial, such as Moneta Money Bank, to e-commerce including Rohlík.cz. Prior to joining Savills, he spent five years at Knight Frank where he held various positions in the field of tenant representation and the last nine months in the position of head of agency. At Savills, Matěj will be responsible for tenant representation and growing the international occupier platform, helping both inbound and outbound requirements for commercial space.

Ondřej joined Savills this month as a associate of Occupier Services. He spent more than ten years in the banking industry before moving into the real estate sector, namely at Knight Frank, where he made his way up from a junior position to a senior consultant in the commercial property leasing department. During his professional career, he has specialised on advisory to international corporates and local companies. His clients include GoodData, Solek and Sharry Europe.

Pavel Novák, head of office agency at Savills CZ&SK, says: “I am very pleased to welcome Matěj and Ondřej to the team, whom I know well from my previous career. Having them on board goes hand in hand with our ultimate goal to have the best people and platform within the sector.”
