Savills combines services into Operational Capital Markets division in Germany

With immediate effect, the Residential Capital Markets, Healthcare & Senior Living and Student Housing service lines at Savills in Germany will be combined to form the Operational Capital Markets division

Marcus Lemli, CEO Germany and Head of Investment Europe at Savills, comments: “In recent years, the residential investment market in Germany has become significantly more relevant. With the establishment and expansion of this division, we are taking this development into account, strengthening our competencies and making more use of the know-how already available. ”

As part of the expansion, Alexander Bräul, Associate Director, previously Corporate Finance - Valuation at Savills in Frankfurt, will focus on Residential Capital Markets. In addition, Savills has brought on board Max Eiting, a Healthcare & Senior Living specialist. The Associate Director has been contributing to the Operational Capital Markets division since 1 March 2022.

The Operational Capital Markets division has a strong international track record, particularly in the UK, with Savills advising on over £20 billion of transactions in the last three years.

Together with Draženko Grahovac, Managing Director / Head of European Valuation, Corporate Finance - Valuation Berlin, Karsten Nemecek, Managing Director Corporate Finance – Valuation, heads up the German Operational Capital Markets team.

Nemecek adds: “We want to build on these successes and our own experience in this segment and are therefore now giving our division in Germany more clout - a strong team for a strong market segment. With the hire of Max Eiting and Alexander Bräul taking on a new role, we will do justice to this claim. ”
Before joining Savills, Max Eiting performed several roles at soleo* GmbH, a consulting and planning company focused on social and healthcare properties. As an authorised signatory, he was responsible for managing an interdisciplinary team of architects, engineers, real estate specialists and commercial staff. As branch manager for southern Germany, he helped to establish the Ulm office.

Eiting says: “I am very much looking forward to being able to bring my know-how and passion for healthcare real estate into a new environment with new tasks and to help drive Savills expansion forward.”

Peter Allen, Head of Operational Capital Markets, UK & EMEA, says: “I congratulate Alexander on his new role and welcome Max to our Operational Capital Markets platform. Our combination of real estate expertise and sophisticated financing capability enables us to offer our clients an unrivalled strategic offering. Alexander and Max join this leading business at an incredibly exciting time in the market’s evolution and together will help build our service offering across Germany.”
