Savills contributes to Land Aid’s Covid-19 emergency funding to frontline charities

The LandAid COVID-19 Emergency Fund, launched on 7 April 2020, has given out its first grants to frontline charities. LandAid, the property industry charity, distributed £100,000 to 12 charities in this first round of funding.  Savills, including a personal donation from Mark Ridley, has contributed to a total of circa £500,000 alongside other Land Aid partners Helical, Knight Frank, Landsec and M&G plc.

The money has been distributed to LandAid charity partners including: the Albert Kennedy Trust, Fat Macy’s and the Benjamin Foundation.

The grants are for a variety of emergency needs including providing temporary accommodation, food, mental health support, equipping charities to work remotely and PPE.
