Savills joins the Czech Green Building Council

As part of its drive to continue to improve the quality of life for users of the buildings it manages, Savills in the Czech and Slovak Republics has become an ‘active member’ of the Czech Green Building Council. 

Savills will be more involved in a range of areas and activities within the Council and will join working groups for ‘Innovation and Technology’ and ‘Healthy Building Interior’.

“We are excited to announce Savills as an active member in the Czech Green Building Council who play an important role with regards to environmental issues relating to the real estate and construction industry. We look forward to working closely with the other members of the Council to seek out innovative solutions to efficiently administer sustainable properties and the quality of the environment for our building users,” says Petr Machula, Head of Property Management, Savills Czech and Slovak Republics.

The non-profit organisation aims to connect businesses and organisations operating in a range of sectors associated with the real estate market and the construction industry. One of the Council’s goals is to instigate changes of approach in the market in regards to designing, erecting, renovating and operating individual buildings and more complex urban projects.

“Savills is undoubtedly an expert in real estate and we are excited to be able to welcome them to the organisation. The Czech Green Building Council will leverage from the company’s experience and expertise and we look forward to our cooperation,” says Simona Kalvoda, Executive Director CGBC.
