Having been voted Employer of Choice in Property for the sixth consecutive year at The Times’ 2012 Graduate Recruitment Awards, Savills has also ranked top of the property picks on the 2012 Trendence Graduate Barometer for the second year running.

As Europe’s leading research institute, Trendence specialises in employer and employee studies and its Graduate Barometer is an annual online survey regarding students’ preferences when considering their first professional position.

Between August 2011 and January 2012, some 25,600 students across the UK took part in the latest Graduate Barometer, which saw Savills ranked as the first choice for graduates out of all of the property companies mentioned with BNP Paribas and Countryside Property  in second and third place respectively. Overall Savills was ranked at 155 in the list of the 300 UK companies most sought-after by graduates.

Jeremy Helsby CEO says: “This number one property ranking demonstrates that once again we have a best in class graduate program that is recognised not only by our immediate industry but across a broad range of sectors. We will continue to invest in our graduates and develop our program to ensure the continued success of our future generation at Savills.”

Ema Saunders, graduate recruitment and training manager, adds: “Our graduate program remains a top priority and it therefore gives us great pleasure to see that Savills is repeatedly being voted as the most desirable property company for aspiring graduates across a number of different surveys and audiences.”
