An Inspiring Space in the Heart of Lisbon
It all started with an idea: to transform an empty space in Lisbon into a living reflection of the identity of a brand that has revolutionized the way the world sleeps. Emma – The Sleep Company, founded in Frankfurt in 2015, entrusted the BPC & Architecture team at Savills with an ambitious mission — to bring the company’s new home to life in the Lumnia building, part of the dynamic and futuristic EXEO Campus.
With 4,000 m² of possibilities, the challenge wasn’t just to build an office. It was to create a space that feels, breathes, and pulses with Emma’s DNA.
The vision was clear: the space needed to inspire. It needed to welcome. It needed to function like a living organism, centered on people. Throughout the process, the Savills team immersed itself in Emma’s world, designing a multifunctional and soulful layout. With a people-first approach, the project became a versatile ecosystem: focus areas, training rooms, relaxation zones, a cinema room, and a multifunctional communal space — adaptable as a work café, canteen, or even an event stage. Every centimeter was designed to foster creativity, comfort, and collaboration, with the brand ever-present in every detail.
The backdrop for this project couldn’t be more iconic: the Lumnia building, a landmark of contemporary architecture in Lisbon.
Today, Emma’s new office is more than just a workplace. It’s a statement of innovation, well-being, and identity — where every element tells a story — the story of how design can turn a vision into reality.
