Savills transforms historic mansion into educational space for Education First

In an 18th-century mansion located in the historic center of the city, Savills developed and delivered a turnkey project for Education First, creating a fully customized educational space tailored to the needs of the international organization.

Covering approximately 380 m², the project included classrooms, lounge areas, reception, retail spaces, and a terrace overlooking the Botanical Garden. In collaboration with Education First's design team, the space was conceived to offer functionality while preserving the historical character of the building.

The main challenge was adapting a property with unique architectural elements — such as stucco ceilings, partition walls, and a Pombaline cage structure — while ensuring safety, acoustic comfort, and appropriate lighting. Every detail was respected and enhanced, reinforcing the building’s identity.

The result is a space that combines heritage and innovation, designed to provide a modern learning experience in a historically rich setting.
