In Benavente, one of the most ambitious industrial real estate projects in Portugal has come to life. On a 19.5-hectare site, next to the A10, a state-of-the-art logistics and industrial center was built, with over 90,000 m² of constructed area.
The complex consists of two large warehouses housing 13 independent modules, adaptable to the needs of different companies. It includes 93 loading and unloading docks, warehouses with a 12-meter clear height, technical areas, locker rooms, and integrated offices, all designed to ensure operational efficiency and human comfort.
Sustainability was a pillar from the very beginning:
From an architectural perspective, the challenge was to integrate a large-scale structure into the landscape. The solution was the creation of two staggered volumes surrounded by a green belt, functioning as a visual filter and an integration zone with the territory. Structurally, concrete and prefabricated façades were used, ensuring robustness and durability.
Inside, the priority was functionality and flexibility of spaces, without overlooking the human factor. The pillar spacing and circulation flows were carefully planned to optimize operations and improve the daily lives of people.
This project represents not just the construction of a building, but the enhancement of the Benavente region, creating a strategic logistics hub for the future and reinforcing the importance of innovation and sustainability in the industrial real estate sector.
